Your Have and Have Not List

Having a have and have not list is an excellent way to narrow down your searches when you are looking for a new home. Brampton real estate, for example, can be difficult to navigate with many homes being available and all of them offering different features. Providing your real estate agent with a list of features that your home should have (and should not have) will make the searching process much quicker.

One hot issue for people making a have and have not list is the issue of a pool. A pool can be a great feature if you have children who will use it and if you are an avid swimmer yourself. If you do not have kids, do not swim, or plan to spend your summers at the cottage, then you probably won't want the burden of caring for a pool. Many Mississauga homes have pools, but areas on the ocean or lakes are less likely to have a pool. Depending on the area you are in, wanting or not wanting a pool can have a dramatic effect on your search.

A must have for many people is a scenic view. A Milton, Ontario house for sale is likely to have a good view, but if you are looking for a home in New Jersey, or other industrial areas, this may be difficult. This will greatly affect the areas where your real estate agent can find a home for you, but it should help you narrow down your choices to a few ideal locations.

For a lot of people, a finished basement is a definite necessity. Most Scarborough Bluffs homes will have a finished basement, but in other areas this may be uncommon. A finished basement can be very important if you have a growing family and need space for you children to play on rainy days. An unfinished basement might be more favorable to you if you are just looking for some extra storage space and do not need any additional living area.

Landscaping may be important to you, or you may want a home with no landscaping so you can start fresh. A Spokane, Washington real estate agent may have difficulty finding a home with no trees on the lot, but if that is what you really want, it will certainly narrow down your choices.

When you make your own have and have not list, it is important to think about the things that are really important to you. Your have and have not list should only include things which will automatically rule out certain houses. This may seem like it is difficult, but it will actually make the whole process of finding a perfect home much easier.
